Dripping Springs Community Foundation

Dripping Springs Community Foundation's purpose is to develop and manage opportunities for giving that provide donors and potential donors with the means for making a difference in the Dripping Springs community. Donations to the Foundation may support a specific purpose or the broader community, and the establishment of a Fund with the DSCF can provide tax benefits and the opportunity to meet long term objectives. DSCF approved our skatepark project in September of 2017.

Dripping Springs Youth Sports Association (DSYSA)

Dripping Springs Youth Sports Association is a registered 501c3 organization dedicated to serving the youth of Drippings Springs and surrounding areas by instilling life-long skills and well-being through organized sports. We presented the skatepark concept to DSYSA's board of directors in March of 2017. Our goal was to get their support and gain another ally in our mission to bring a public skatepark to Dripping Springs. DSYSA's board unanimously approved the skatepark initiative.

Dripping Springs Community Education

In March of 2014 Dripping Springs Community Education was excited to help us bring skateboarding to the local community. Over the past four years we've taught beginner and intermediate skateboarding classes at Dripping Springs High School. During this time, hundreds of children have gone through our program and the interest in skateboarding continues to grow. We will continue to offer community skateboarding classes for years to come.

CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS

Without support from the City of Dripping Springs the skatepark project would not be possible. Our committee has presented to DS Parks & Rec and City Council numerous times, which led to the city generously donating 1.5 acres of land at the north end of Founders Memorial Park. The land was donated for the construction of the future skatepark in April of 2017.
